Can we say anemic?

So, I got my test results back regarding my thyroid and such and I am happy to report there is nothing wrong with my thyroid....YEAH! However, it did come back to say that I am battling with my dreaded anemia again, which was somewhat expected. However, when I went to the pharmacist to pick up my new iron supplement, I was shocked to see how much iron they wanted me to take! My goodness! Mind you, I have to take one of these pills twice a day, and one alone has 65mg of Iron which is equivalent to 361% of your daily iron. How freaking anemic am I?! The doctor just said a little.

So, I called the doc's office back to see what my counts actually were, and it sounds like my hemoglobin (I learned that is what transports the iron) is very good. However, my actual iron count is 32 (good range is 50-170) and my iron saturation is 6 (good range is 15-50). SO definitely a little anemic. So, I am hoping with all the iron I was missing out on I will now have a little more energy after taking these supplements.

On another note, did anyone catch the O.C. last night? There was a very obvious plug for Victoria's Secret. I thought it was neat being I am an employee of VS. Not sure how much longer I can keep up the two job thing though, but the discount is just so nice...but how many more bras do I actually need. The answer is of course a lot more since now I am obsessed!
